My question is largely academic, presented to allay my Engineer's curiosity regarding the LS650 engine design.
Is the crankshaft a machined one-piece forging, including crankpin, counterbalancers, and shafts, or is it like the HD crank, with the crankpin pressed between 2 flywheels? Also, are the Savage main bearings roller, ball, or bushings?
I don't have my Savage yet; that will have to wait until I sell my arrogant, intimidating Vulcan!
